10 Tell-Tale Signs Of A Quality Website

Websites are launched by a gazillion website development companies every second. However, you visit only those that appeal to you functionally and aesthetically. Now, this preference is a function of several parameters, of which 10 are listed below.
1. The website resonates with you - the target audience
A quality website speaks to you in your language. The most successful websites stay away from corporate gobbledygook, and eliminate the fluff like it was plague.
2. It communicates a compelling value proposition
When you arrive on a website, its homepage should compel you to stick around. It's the best place that a business can make an impression on you with its value proposition so that you don't ditch it for its competitor's website. All web design companies should take note of this.

3. Optimized for mobile devices
User centered design is not just a buzzword. It is meant to be practiced. And if you are someone from a web application development agency reading this article, make it a point to constantly remind your team members from here on that almost every Internet user accesses the web from a mobile phone. (there are currently close to 730 million mobile phone users). Moreover, there shouldn't be 'flashy' objects like flash banners, animations, pop-ups or overly complicated elements that obtrude browsing. Less or no dependency on flash objects is a sign of good design thinking.

4. It has clearly defined calls-to-action
The purpose of each page in a website is to get you to navigate through the website and move you further down the funnel. The most usable websites use primary and secondary calls-to-action to direct you to the next logical step. CTAs tell you what to do next so that you don't get overwhelmed or lost. Which is why writers in UX/UI agencies spend time in crafting the most effective CTAs.

5. Answers 'Who I am', 'What I do', 'What can you (the visitor) do here'
A well-known brand or company can get away with not having to describe who it is and what it does. This is solid branding identification. But the reality is that most businesses need to answer these questions so that visitors know that they are in the right place. In his book, Don't Make Me Think, author Steve Krugg clearly states that if visitors can't identify what a business does within seconds, they won't stick around long.

6. Comes with a clear identity
Pay close attention the next time you're surfing the Internet. Watch for sites with logos or titles that are obscure, or a design so cluttered with ads and banners that the pertinent information gets lost. A good website always keeps its identity visible. And it's also brief and concise with its text.

7. Has good navigation
What is GPS to mobile phones, navigation is to a website. Just as homes are easier to find with a good map, web content is easier to find with good navigation. If a website doesn't have it, its competition likely will.

8. Hosts only good content
Good not only means interesting, but also accurate, fresh and well-communicated. Remember, you like everyone else have a short attention span. Hence, a quality website will keep its content clear and succinct, use proper grammar, spell words correctly, will be accurate, relevant, and up-to-date. A good website will also have an up-to-date blog and social media handles - a good go to market strategy.

9. Is secure
A robust website will urge you to use strong passwords for your accounts. Also, if the site is built on a platform like WordPress or Magento, timely updates will help it function better. These periodic updates often address security issues found by other users and developers.

10. It has testimonials
A sincere website will always establish its credibility with the help of testimonials. In today's social world, shoppers increasingly rely on the feedback of others, even if they've never met them. Testimonials from a client or customer feel more genuine than sales copy written by the website owner.
Website development is the most important and the best way to uplift your business on Google thereby creating awareness among your target audiences. Therefore you need not look further dy is there for uplifting your business.

The Poultry Business Idea In Brief

The poultry industry has come to be considered as a means to fight poverty. It is important as a source of employment and income to many families. Unlike other ventures, it provides faster turn over on capital investment. This has led to the setting up of formal businesses and training institution. Production is always in stages and every stage is very important to ensure overall efficiency in production chain in the poultry industry, production ranges from hatchery, brooding of broilers or layers, fattening and marketing. The brooding of broilers is one of the foundation stages in the production chain which needs the close attention of operates in the sector and that of researchers.

Meaning of brooding

This is a term which means keeping chicks warm and comfortable. When your baby chicks arrive the will need special care. This is the time which you can expect a few chicks to die. In tropical countries it may not be necessary to provide extra heat during the day but only st night and then only for the first (10) ten days. Dead chicks should remove and buried in a hole in the ground. Sick and weak chicks should be kept separately and given special care. Chicks should be given water immediately and some may need to be shown how to drink. Electricity may be unreliable or unavailable and a small kerosene lamp can provide heat.

PROCESS OF BROODING CHICKS FROM DAY OLD TO FOUR (4) WEEKS OLD.

The brooding period, generally considered as the period of time from placement through 14 days, is perhaps the most important time in bird life. The brooding period is the most sensitive because the bird is changing from an in immature thermo regulation system to a mature system. Survival of the newly hatched chick is largely dependent on how quickly and efficiently the transition is made from the Hatchery to the farm environment. At no other time during the flocks life is a services person and producer job more important. Mistakes made during this critical time may be irreversible and negatively impact performance for the entire life of the flock. Brooder means to give a heat source by artificial means for the period of growth of chicks from 0 day (Day old) to 4 weeks.

The heat source generally has a large reflector (Hover) under which the chicks will get the heat uniformly. The day old chicks do not possess the insulating feather coverage to protect them from cold. It may result in the losing of body heat to the environment resulting in chilling which will create the ground for much disease. Chicks do not possess a well developed thermo regulatory mechanism. The body temperature of chick is 107oF which is always more than the ambient temperature. So a source of heat given by natural brooding or by Artificial brooding up to 4 weeks of age.

            Preparation of brooder house;

(1)    The litter material of the previous batch should be heaped up first so that building

(2)   After 2 to 3 days the heaped up material can be removed from the brooder room.

(3)   The portion of the hitter sticking over the ground must be scraped and removed.

(4)   Disinfection of the room is carried out by spraying phenyl, Lysol, e.t.c at 5%

(5)   Feeders, water containers, chick guards should be washed and disinfected in phenyl or Lysol. Dry it in the sun for a dry e.t.c

MANAGEMENT:-

(1)   Spread finally grained maize over the news paper before the arrival of chicks

(2)   Give cool water after boiling. Add electrolytes, B complex and antibiotics.

(3)   Distribute chicks equally after counting under the broods.

(4)   Before putting chicks under the brooder scale their beats with water

(5)   For first 3 days provide crushed maize twice a day. Also provide ground maize in the feeder.

(6)   Change newspapers sheets immediately if they get wet.

(7)   Watch the chicks under light if chicks are spread uniformly under the light and brooder area. Then the temperature maintained is correct. If the chicks are huddled under the light, heat provides is not enough. If the chicks are huddled under the light, light source, the heat intensity is high. Give enough space for watering and feeding for growing chicks according to the age of the birds. The first (4) four weeks of chicks life is a critical time that contributes to the overall flock productivity. At placement, baby chicks are entirely dependent on grower management for survival. The objective of the brooding period is to create the ideal environment condition to detailed management is essential to accomplishing this objective.

Finally, understanding the specific requirement of post hatch birds and subsequently adjust the brooding conditions is important to improve performance, animal health and welfare. Have a nice day.
