Running around in circles and getting nowhere is a situation many new online digital marketers can say that many are facing, You are not alone.
Reasons may not be due to only lack of business plan, structure, proper time management or other things. One of the top reasons is simply joining and promoting the wrong programs.
Many who have been doing online marketing on a global level for a few years now, have been in the same situation. They spent time and money on a few programs that disappeared after a while.
This can be said to be wasted time and money. So at a given point, there is need to come up with the decision to start their own business. Although you can still promote services of some trusted friends and partners, It's better to mainly promote your own business where you have complete control over.
This way I know that what I am promoting will still be there next year and the year after. There are many services you can start. There are scripts for sale for many online services: traffic exchanges, advertising services, membership sites and many more.Do you have passion for poultry birds business and really wish to survive an stay long in the business? Then, the tips below should be very helpful!
Tip: 1
..."Only order for birds you can conveniently take care of". This is the most important rule of all.Instead of stocking 500 birds and then struggle to feed them or give them medication, buy 200 ,feed and give them good medication.
Trust me, you'll make more profit than keeping 500 and struggling to feed and give the medication. If this happens, you'll battle with stunted growth, recurrent morbidity or disease outbreaks and high mortality.
Tip: 2
..."Never borrow money to start poultry birds business unless you are an expert". Of course, there is no expert in poultry business. In fact, we learn everyday. Every stock you take in will always teach you something different.
However, Haven learnt from all the different characteristics displayed by each stock, you get to know more and won't be excited when challenges come. You'll know how to handle them without much damage.
Tip: 3.
..."Be vigilant". The little things you don't take as anything matter. If you want to succeed in poultry, you must take it as a real business.
Do you know what a business man does every morning when he gets to his store? He pray, then open the store and go round to check if everything is in its place. He take stocks of what he met there and relate with his records yesterday before closing the store.
Don't just open your open your Penn and start rushing to give your birds feed and water and rush out again. Check around. Watch how they behave when you came in. Check what fell and what is no longer in its place
Tip: 4
..."Never ignore warning signals". Yes, warning signals.
Bad smell
Withdrawal from feed by the birds
Moodiness
Withdrawal from water.
There are numerous warning signals i can't mention here. In fact, they are so many, A farmer must be observant and know how his birds behaves when they see him enter the in the morning.
How they behave when he serve them feed. He should know the very active terrors and gentle lambs, If you keep these signals, you'll easily spot when something is not right
Tip: 5
..."Never change feed indiscriminately!" When farmers talk about changing feed from this to this and that then this all in the name getting better result, I'm always scared for them.Whether you are changing from a bad feed to a good one, you must be very careful.
Do you know every change in feed affect your negatively first before gradually bringing in the results you desire? Most of the times, you may suffer withdrawal, coccidiosis, feed wastage, stress and more.Imagine changing from mash to Pellet indiscriminately.
Do you know what that means? Have you studied the difference between mash and Pelleted feed and the process of digestion? They may contain the same ingredients but the formulation process varies so is the digestion process.
Note:
I don't mean changing from starter to grower or finisher but changing from one commercial feed to another e.g. from top feed, to hybrid, then Ultima, livestock, new hope, Chikun and more; you are doing your birds more harm than good.
Each company use their own unique ingredients to make their feeds although they may give the same nutritional content. Before using any feed for your birds, find out first about the feed and make sure you stick with it. Don't be surprised, the cheapest feeds in the market may give you the best result.
Tip: 6
..."Do not let your birds run dry of water".
Have you heard of heat stress? If it has happened to your birds then you'll understand what I'm saying , Heat stress can wipe your entire flock. And it may leave your birds vulnerable to all kinds of infection as their immune system get weakened and may take more than 14 days to fully recover. Your birds can survive 48 hours without feed but they can't survive 7 hours without water. Instead of running out of water, please, run out of feed.
Tip: 7
..."If you can't drink that water, don't give it to your birds".
Some farmers takes chickens as they are just animals and nothing matters. Maybe they've forgotten they are dealing with delicate live animals. Waterborne diseases are some oft hw deadliest disease and most difficult to control. Imagine a tiny drop of of harmful substance inside the drinking water; it'll contaminate the whole water. If it was feed, it may not be that bad.
Some farmers believe too that if a particular drug cures a disease, once the same drug is mixed with their drinking water it'll kill all the harmful bacterial inside the water.
From experience, general cleanliness is very important, when it comes to poultry and agricultural animals. This will also help to prevent incidences like Flu, Disease or even a pandemic. Have a nice day.

2. Use clean and dry absorbent litter, do not use very smooth litter, if you do, the chicks may be feeding on it, thereby causing health challenge to them.
3. Heat the house between 24 - 48 hours to keep it warm before introducing the chicks. Day old chicks have no feather, exposing them to cold, can lead to mortality.
4. Once the chicks are brought in, give them vitamin to help cushion the effects of long distance stress, glucose may also be given to help the weak ones regain strength promptly.
5. Observe the birds always to make sure the environment is not too cold or too hot for them, both extreme cases can lead to their mortality. If the chicks are crowded at the source of heat, know that the environment is cold for them and if they are far from the source of heat, know that the environment is hot for them but if they are evenly spread, that means the environment is okay for them.
6. The house should be well ventilated for exchange of gases, that is carbon-dioxide going out and oxygen coming in, excess carbon-dioxide and ammonia can lead to respiratory health change.
7. Use broiler starter from day one up to 5 weeks. Please do not make the mistake of given chick mash.
8. Ensure that the necessary vaccination is carried out at the right time.
9. Observe strict sanitation in the broiler house, avoid wet litter, muddy surroundings or allowing dead birds to remain around the broiler house.
10. Feed ad libitum, that is, feed the chicks as much as they can eat, do not starve the birds, any weight loss is also loss of money, do not allow the birds to waste their feed, any feed wastage is also loss of money. Any excess feed in the trough should be mixed with fresh feed the next morning.
11. Observe strict restriction of visitors into broiler premises, apart from attracting disease into the area, visitors may excite the birds and this may cause stampeding, lowered feed consumption and decrease body weight gain.
12. Have a particular foot wear for your broiler house, don't wear it outside the broiler house, strictly inside the broiler house, this would help to reduce the incidence of disease.
13. Make sure you use the right floor space. If the birds are crowded, it may lead to competition for feed and water and also can cause cannibalism, that is birds pecking themselves.
These may not be exhaustive but let it serve as a guild.Wish you the best in your broiler business. Haver a nice day.

keep track of appointments, things to do, calls to make, errands to run,
shopping, etc. Finally, set up a work schedule so you won't get sidetracked by TV,
neighbor's visits, snacking, and telephone calls. Creating and operating

you happy. Have a Productive day.

corporation, you must obtain an EIN. To do this, complete IRS Form
(Application for Employer Identification Number) and file it with the
nearest IRS Office.

tax permit. Call the local tax agency, explain the type of business you

complete. You also use this tax number when your purchase items for
resale.

license, and most have special laws regarding the preparation and sale
of food. Find out what is needed for your particular business. In addition, Chamber of Commerce provide information on city, county and state licenses and permits in many countries.

balance, if any, must be maintained to avoid paying a service charge. Also ask about credit card if you plan to offer this convenience to your customers. If your personal checking account is with a credit card, some can also provide a separate business account. when you open your account, you may need to show the assumed name certificate and business license.
