Top (7) Seven Ways Writing Articles Can Explode Your Business

In today's highly competitive internet universe, the importance of attracting highly targeted traffic to your website cannot be overemphasized. Routing web traffic to your site can be your only means of survival, especially in the cutthroat world of e-commerce and online Payment Solutions. Getting a high search engine ranking can be very difficult. Fortunately, there is plethora of website promotion strategies you can use to drive traffic to your website. There is a wide variety of strategies you can adapt, from paid advertising to affiliate marketing. However, most of these techniques require payment. Nevertheless, there are ways to promote your website and increase your web traffic without spending anything. Writing articles is one of the best web site promotion strategies you can use, and they can be very effective. How, you may ask, can writing articles help improve your web traffic? Here are the top seven ways in which it can help explode your business.
1.Free Advertising
Submitting your articles to other websites presents an opportunity to advertise your website without paying exorbitant fees. Although you should avoid marketing language in your articles and make it informative and useful to your readers, you can always include your site's link in the resource box. In addition, by making your article relevant and helpful to your readers, you are making a good impression for your website, which could ultimately lead to a visit and hopefully a purchase. Good quality content in an article is far better and more effective than a few lines of ad space. You have a very special opportunity to pre-sell your product or service to your prospective customer.
2.Reach more people
When you write good articles, it would be a shame not to share them with other people. You can post your articles in your website or you can submit them to other sites such as e-zines and online publishers. By submitting your articles to these sites, you give exposure not only to your ideas but also to your website. Include a link back to your site or include your information in the resource box. With this, you get exposure and free advertising as well. Submit your articles to popular e-zines and take advantage of their popularity. Other sites who find your article relevant may also link back to you.
Thus, you increase your link popularity, which is one of the most important strategies in the internet world. Remember that most people are looking for information online and by filling this need with your quality article; you may reap the benefit of more exposure and higher web traffic.
3.Optimizes your site for improved search engine ranking
By making your site keyword rich, you can greatly improve the search engine ranking of your site.
Remember that keyword density is one of the most important factors that search engines use when determining the search engine ranking of site. However, you should always provide relevant, useful and pertinent information. Avoid the temptation of overusing keywords just to gain a high ranking as this may turn off most web surfers. Relevance and quality is still the most important things to consider when writing articles and it will be doubly useful to your site if you make these articles search-engine optimized.
4.Increases Link Popularity
Instead of looking for other sites who would want to establish reciprocal links with your site, you can simply submit an article to other sites.Just do not forget to include a link to your site in your resource box. When these websites pick up and publishes your article, you automatically get a link partner.
Try to get as many link partners as you can. Link popularity is one of the factors used by search engines in determining search engine rankings. Make your article especially useful and appealing, so that more websites will be encouraged to publish it.
5.Gain High Search Engine Ranking
Create a new web page for your article in your website. Optimize your article to make it search-engine friendly. Use top-ranked keywords and Meta tags that can give your website a high search engine ranking. As soon as you upload your new web page to your server, search engines will spider through it and you can gain an increase in search engine ranking. Remember that search engine optimized content is a very effective strategy to gain a high ranking in search results.
6.Establishes a Good Impression and Reputation
By writing excellent, original and relevant articles, you not only give your site exposure, you are also creating a good impression on your prospects. Encourage more people to visit your site and do business with you by establishing an impressive reputation through your articles. Be seen as an expert in the field and your will ultimately gain more customers eager to do business with you.
7.Enhances your credibility through references and testimonies
Certainly, your articles are going to receive feed backs and testimonies when you publish them in e-zines and free article sites. Record these positive feed backs and comments and use them as promotional material in your website or in any of your advertising efforts. Your credibility will be greatly enhanced by these feed backs, as it will create a good impression on your prospects as well as your existing customers.  In this highly competitive world, excellent credibility and trust may be the only things you need to attract new customers or make loyal patrons out of your existing customers. Original, relevant, useful and pertinent articles are important tools you should utilize to improve and explode your business. All the best, Stay safe.

5 SEO Myths To Let Go ! (Continued)

Myth #1:
“Google will never know if I have bad sites linking to me”
“Google will never know if I have bad sites linking to me” Yes, they will! you’ve missed your curfew.  Just like Santa Claus knows if you’ve been good or bad. Just like the Tooth Fairy knows when you’ve lost a tooth.
Just like your parents can sense when. The point is Google knows almost everything on the web as they happen or soon after they happen, so long it is related to an information they need to provide or that people use them for. Don’t try to fool yourself -- especially post-Panda, -Penguin, and -Hummingbird, or you will be sent to your room (well, in this case, this means penalized). If you know you have bad sites linking to you, that’s okay. It’s not too late. Just make sure you disavow or remove them! With penalty algorithms, negative SEO can now impact businesses that are not carefully watching their backlinks and other metrics. There have even been studies of sites hit by negative SEOs that sent bogus traffic and negatively impacted bounce rate and CTR from Google SERPs. Watch your link profile, analytics, and be on the lookout for misuse. – Marcela DeVivo, Gryffin Media
Myth #2:
“Images don’t require any optimization”
For a long time, it was okay to neglect the images on your site and still rank without using alt text and image file names to boost your page relevance. On-page SEO is more important than ever, so excluding images will prevent your website’s SEO from being the best it can be. Search engines cannot see images on websites, so it is important to give the image an alt text and relevant file name to ensure Google knows what the image is about. By not creating this text, you lose a huge opportunity to be as visible as possible online. It helps Google if the text on the page where the image is located mentions the image, too, so always try to reference your images in your text, close to where it lives on the page, using keywords similar to the alt text/filename of the image. Google also recommends providing descriptive titles and captions for your images, so consider adding those when relevant. The image types Google can index include BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG, WebP, and SVG, so be sure to only use these image file types on your website to make it possible for Google to index them. Name your image files something that is indicative of what the image is itself, rather than something like IMG2394870.jpg. Yes, keywords matter here!
Myth #3:
“Answer boxes only matter if you’re Wikipedia” Though it may seem like an impossible feat to beat out Wikipedia for Google’s answer box spot, it’s completely doable. See these images below as an example of two websites that outbeat Wikipedia because they created content that was more highly relevant. One example focuses on Google’s big update from 2015: Mobilegeddon. The other example shows a list-based post when I search “how to blog.” This list-based option came up first because it is the most digestible piece of information Google could find on this topic. Pages that Google selects for quick answers on our site are high-authority pages with quality, well-structured content that is theme-relevant and optimized for a great user experience, and answer specific questions closely matching the query. You also might be wondering if answer boxes drive any traffic, and if optimizing for this even worth your time. The short answer is yes. These boxes help you skip the line and rank even above #1 as a special feature. -Kirill Kronrod
You’ll also see the examples below give you a clear link to the article so you can read on to get more detail on a particular topic. Give this a try for yourself! Go search for some terms in Google and see where you find opportunities for your own blog or website.
Myth #4:
“I don’t need a mobile optimization strategy”
“I don’t need a mobile optimization strategy” rewards mobile-friendly websites and penalizes those that aren’t fully optimized for mobile in mobile search results.  After an analysis of  over 15,000 websites, it was discovered that: Websites that aren’t mobile optimized had an average of 5% decline in organic traffic. In the spring of 2015, Google had a algorithm update called “Mobilegeddon,” which expanded Google’s use of mobile- friendliness as a ranking signal. The update Check to see if your site is mobile-friendly here: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/mobile-friendly/  If your web presence screams 2009, you should be thinking about a comprehensive strategy to modernize your site and bring it in line with consumer expectations. Your website should be mobile-friendly by default and look beautiful for visitors from any device.
Myth #5:
“SEO is something I can hand off to IT”
There seems to be a perception that SEO requires some technical expertise, and since it is technical, IT can just do the work. While there is a technical component to SEO, it requires way more than just technical chops, so I’d think long and hard before handing an entire project to IT or a web designer. SEO is one of those acronyms that sounds like a flavor of rocket fuel --something  that belongs in the hands of technoids with html street cred. With every new iteration of Google algorithms though, we are learning that SEO should really stand for being Simply Excellent Online. In other words, create remarkable content first, THEN work with the IT folks to make sure that what reads well also scores well technically. -Paul Furiga
Though you may need some of those individuals to assist you during the course of optimizing your website, it’s far from ideal to just give SEO duties to IT and expect best practices to be adhered to. While many IT professionals are adept in many technical areas -- for instance, making sure your website is crawlable and setting up redirects and XML sitemap files --just remember that many IT personnel also work on things like setting up printers, which is … well ... a different skill set than what’s needed to effectively run an SEO strategy. Finally, Now that you know what the common SEO myths are, what are you doing that isn’t moving the needle? Or worse, what are you doing that’s making your SEO efforts worse? Understanding these SEO truths will make you both more effective and more efficient with your organic search strategy. If you can take one thing away from this guide, it’s this: More than anything else, SEO is about the overall experience for a searcher, and that experience starts the moment they enter a search query. The better their experience with you -- from your SERP listing, to the quality and relevancy of the content on your site, to the ease with which they can move through your site -- the better your SEO will be, too. 12 Things Happy People Do Differently

“I’d always believed that a life of quality, enjoyment, and wisdom were my human birthright and would be automatically bestowed upon me as time passed. I never suspected that I would have to learn how to live - that there were specific disciplines and ways of seeing the world I had to master before I could awaken to a simple, happy, uncomplicated life.” -Dan Millman
Studies conducted by positivity psychologist Sonja Lyubomirsky points to 12 things happy people do differently to increase their levels of happiness. These are things that we can start doing today to feel the effects of more happiness in our lives.
I want to discuss these 12 points, because no matter what part of life’s path we’re currently traveling on, these ‘happiness habits’ will always be applicable.
1. Express gratitude. – When you appreciate what you have, what you have appreciates in value. Kinda cool right? So basically, being grateful for the goodness that is already evident in your life will bring you a deeper sense of happiness. And that’s without having to go out and buy anything. It makes sense. We’re gonna have a hard time ever being happy if we aren’t thankful for what we already have.
2. Cultivate optimism. – Winners have the ability to manufacture their own optimism. No matter what the situation, the successful diva is the chick who will always find a way to put an optimistic spin on it. She knows failure only as an opportunity to grow and learn a new lesson from life. People who think optimistically see the world as a place packed with endless opportunities, especially in trying times.
3. Avoid over-thinking and social comparison. – Comparing yourself to someone else can be poisonous.
If we’re somehow ‘better’ than the person that we’re comparing ourselves to, it gives us an unhealthy sense of superiority. Our ego inflates – KABOOM – our inner Kanye West comes out! If we’re ‘worse’ than the person that we’re comparing ourselves to, we usually discredit the hard work that we’ve done and dismiss all the progress that we’ve made. What I’ve found is that the majority of the time this type of social comparison doesn’t stem from a healthy place. If you feel called to compare yourself to something, compare yourself to an earlier version of yourself.
4. Practice acts of kindness. – Performing an act of kindness releases serotonin in your brain. (Serotonin is a substance that has TREMENDOUS health benefits, including making us feel more blissful.)  Selflessly helping someone is a super powerful way to feel good inside. What’s even cooler about this kindness kick is that not only will you feel better, but so will people watching the act of kindness. How extraordinary is that? Bystanders will be blessed with a release of serotonin just by watching what’s going on. A side note is that the job of most anti-depressants is to release more serotonin. Move over Pfizer, kindness is kicking ass and taking names.
5. Nurture social relationships. – The happiest people on the planet are the ones who have deep, meaningful relationships. Did you know studies show that people’s mortality rates are DOUBLED when they’re lonely? WHOA! There’s a warm fuzzy feeling that comes from having an active circle of good friends who you can share your experiences with. We feel connected and a part of something more meaningful than our lonesome existence.
6. Develop strategies for coping. – How you respond to the ‘craptastic’ moments is what shapes your character. Sometimes crap happens – it’s inevitable. Forrest Gump knows the deal. It can be hard to come up with creative solutions in the moment when manure is making its way up toward the fan. It helps to have healthy strategies for coping pre-rehearsed, on-call, and in your arsenal at your disposal.
7. Learn to forgive. – Harboring feelings of hatred is horrible for your well-being. You see, your mind doesn’t know the difference between past and present emotion. When you ‘hate’ someone, and you’re continuously thinking about it, those negative emotions are eating away at your immune system. You put yourself in a state of suckerism (technical term) and it stays with you throughout your day.
8. Increase flow experiences. – Flow is a state in which it feels like time stands still. It’s when you’re so focused on what you’re doing that you become one with the task. Action and awareness are merged. You’re not hungry, sleepy, or emotional. You’re just completely engaged in the activity that you’re doing. Nothing is distracting you or competing for your focus.
9. Savor life’s joys. – Deep happiness cannot exist without slowing down to enjoy the joy. It’s easy in a world of wild stimuli and omnipresent movement to forget to embrace life’s enjoyable experiences. When we neglect to appreciate, we rob the moment of its magic. It’s the simple things in life that can be the most rewarding if we remember to fully experience them.
10. Commit to your goals. – Being wholeheartedly dedicated to doing something comes fully-equipped with an ineffable force. Magical things start happening when we commit ourselves to doing whatever it takes to get somewhere. When you’re fully committed to doing something, you have no choice but to do that thing. Counter-intuitively, having no option – where you can’t change your mind – subconsciously makes humans happier because they know part of their purpose.
11. Practice spirituality. – When we practice spirituality or religion, we recognize that life is bigger than us. We surrender the silly idea that we are the mightiest thing ever. It enables us to connect to the source of all creation and embrace a connection with everything that exists. Some of the most accomplished people I know feel that they’re here doing work they’re “called to do.”
12. Take care of your body. – Taking care of your body is crucial to being the happiest person you can be. If you don’t have your physical energy in good shape, then your mental energy (your focus), your emotional energy (your feelings), and your spiritual energy (your purpose) will all be negatively affected. Did you know that studies conducted on people who were clinically depressed showed that consistent exercise raises happiness levels just as much as Zoloft? Not only that, but here’s the double whammy. Six months later, the people who participated in exercise were less likely to relapse because they had a higher sense of self-accomplishment and self-worth. Have a wonderful time.

5 More SEO Myths To Leave Behind In Web Development

Myth #1:
“The H1 is the most important on-page element”
Your H1 is still important, but it’s not the most important.
Think of the content structure on your webpage as an outline.
It’s a tiered approach to presenting information to users and search engines.
What title tag your headline is wrapped in has little to no influence on your overall SEO -- that title tag (whether it’s an H1, H2, H3, etc.) is only used for styling purposes.

The H1 is part of your CSS (custom style sheet) that a designer puts together to reference what font styling and size will be applied to a particular piece of content. This used to be more important, but search engines are smarter these days, and --unfortunately -- people spammed this to death. So, it really doesn’t matter what header tag you use, as long as you present your most important concepts upfront and closer to the top of the page. Remember, you’re optimizing your page for users first and foremost, which means that you want to tell them ASAP what your page is about through a clear headline.
Myth #2:
“My homepage needs a lot of content”
Have you ever come across a homepage littered with copy? Or, on the opposite spectrum, a homepage with barely any content at all?
Think of your homepage as the gateway to your business. Visualize it! This is your chance to make a first impression and convey what you’re all about.

Think of your homepage as the gateway to your business. Visualize it! This is your chance to make a first impression and convey what you’re all about.
Maybe your value proposition is simplicity -- in that case, just a single login makes sense
(especially if your name is Dropbox). For most marketers, however, there is a need for a bit more content and context than that. Your homepage content should be long enough to clarify who you are, what you do, where you’re located (if you’re local), your value proposition, and what visitors should do next. These visitors should leave satisfied, not overwhelmed or underwhelmed -- and certainly not confused. Some people have the notion that if you have more pages, you will get more traffic to your website. Just like link building, creating content just to have more pages will not help you.

Myth #3:
“The more pages I have, the better”
In the past, SEO was all about manipulating data and keywords to gain search engine rankings.
However with the leak of Google’s Quality Rating Guide
QualitY back in August, it has become over
crystal clear that modern SEO is all about adding quality rather than quantity. We shifted
QuAntity our entire content marketing strategy to be about the user, creating engaging content that
compels our audience to take action.
- Phil Laboon, Eyeflow Internet Marketing those pages you created will not help your cause.
Logically, you would think that the larger the footprint of your website, the better you would rank -- but it’s simply not true.
First, not everything you publish gets indexed (and rightfully so). Second, sometimes, pages get indexed, but don’t remain in the index. And third, just because you have pages indexed doesn’t mean they will drive qualified traffic and leads. Unfortunately, those who strive to have lots of pages on their website also tend to overlook the quality of that content -- and realistically, it’s difficult to strive for both. The aim should be to publish what is most relevant. Have your content be at its best.  Introduced in February, 2011, Google’s Panda algorithm updates have been getting better and better at detecting bad content. Nowadays, if you have poor content it is possible you may face a Google penalty, so make sure you created great content that users want to read.
Myth #4
“Good user experience is an added bonus, not a requirement”
“Good user experience is an added bonus, not a requirement”
As Google began to provide better results to it’s users, they were able to invest more in their search algorithm. Through this investment, they began to incorporate new metrics such as a user’s experience and website engagement into their ranking algorithm. Where do take your SEO strategy when you’ve got links, titles, and content covered?  Recently we’ve revamped our site to offer a better user experience. Within three months of rolling out the changes, time on site is up 30% and our bounce rate is down 9%, all while our search traffic is up almost 110%. Google is looking for quality indicators. Make sure your user experience isn’t sending the wrong ones. - Nick Reese, BroadbandNow It makes sense. If Google sends you to a web page, they want to make sure you have a good experience on that page. They are after all a business too, and thus they want to delight their users.
Think about it from the search engine’s point of view: they didn’t create the webpage themselves, but they are endorsing it. They need to ensure that users have a good experience on that page to keep people coming back to Google.  To improve your website’s user experience, you’ll want to focus on things like page load time, bounce rate, time on page, page views per visit, and how far a person scrolls down the page. As long as you satisfy the number one goal of creating quality content that people can easily digest and enjoy, your content will naturally satisfy a search engine’s ranking algorithms, helping your content to organically rise to the top.
Myth #5:
“Local SEO doesn’t matter anymore”
If you are a local business, having a website isn’t enough to rank well in Google’s local search listings.
If you want to rank well you need to unlock, verify, and optimize a Google+ Business Page (referred to more recently as a “Local SEO doesn’t matter anymore” If you are a local business, having a website isn’t enough to rank well in Google’s local search listings. If you want to rank well you need to unlock, verify, and optimize a Google+ Business Page (referred to more recently as a Google My Business Page). If you want to maximize your search traffic from Google, treat your Google Business Page as you would your website, and optimize accordingly. - Kristopher Jones, LSEO.com
“ This myth couldn’t be further from the truth. If you’re a local business, optimizing for local search won’t only help you get found, but it will help you get found by people who are nearby and more likely to buy from you. Looking forward, Google will continue to take steps to bubble the best local content to the surface of search results. Need some proof? In July of 2014, Google took a major step in this direction with the release of its new Pigeon algorithm. The algorithm treats local search rankings more like traditional search rankings, taking hundreds of ranking signals into account. Pigeon also improved the way Google evaluates distance when determining rankings. The bottom line: local SEO matters, probably more so now than ever before. Have a nice day.

5 Tips For Better Time Management

1) You can't really manage your time

You always hear people groan as they wish for more than 24 hours in a day.

That s the reality a lot of us must face when it comes to time management.

We can only manage the time we have available.
A lot of things we want to get done are going to be left incomplete when the day runs out.

The following day always brings its own set of tasks, so what was on our agenda yesterday will be put on the backburner.

Fit as much as you can within a 24-hour period without damaging your mental well-being.

Get the most important things done on your schedule and realize whats left wasnt important at all.

2) Eliminate time wasting activities

Nobody can blaze through a series of monotonous tasks without having other things to do that arent so taxing on their minds. Some of us are a little too occupied with these tasks, leaving what we should have been doing undone.

These tasks should remain, but they must be moderated to the point where they occur infrequently and dont take up much time.

When you re dieting, the biggest thing that undermines your success is snacking. Consider surfing the net and reading personal emails as snacking during the work day.

While snacking expands your waistline, wasting your time depletes the amount of work you get done.

3) Set goals

We all have goals for becoming better at managing our time. Set these goals to ensure the critical items on your schedule get done.

For instance, let your family members know you can only take phone calls at certain times, so you re not wasting valuable time making small talk when you should be working on a presentation.

Stop yourself from surfing the net. Consider letting your IT department know which sites you waste the most time on, so they can block them and you can get back to work.

That might seem like a drastic measure, but you would be surprise what some people need to improve.

4) Prioritize

Whether we want to admit it or not, watching a video of a cat that sounds like it s talking like a human shouldnt be on our list of priorities, let alone near the top.

All of us have priorities in our regular lives and at the workplace. Determining what your priorities are in the workplace is the best way to determine what you need to focus on.

You can deviate from this list every so often, but it s not recommended. Stick to it the best you can and watch your productivity skyrocket.

If you stray away from it, don t be surprised if you will end up scoping out your spot in the unemployment line.

5) Delegate

If you have someone nearby who can take a few tasks off your plate, call on them.

That s what they were hired to do. Letting them handle even a little bit of your workload would help you focus on more important things.

Feeling like you re swamped is the best way to become less productive.

The more stressed a person is, the less they get done. Some people can thrive under pressure, but not many.

We all crumble a little when the pressure is on, but we must find solace in the fact we don t have to do it by ourselves.

Have a nice day.

8 Steps To Start A Home Business And Be Successful

Over Seventy million home-based businesses are currently operational worldwide, according to a Resource's National Work-at Home Survey. All around the country, people who want more control over their lives are starting home businesses.
These people live the new dream of owning a business, but avoiding the high overhead and start-up costs of a commercial location. If the idea of working from home is appealing, but you don't know where to begin, here is a step-by-step guide.
STEP #1 Decide What Part Of The House To Use

Select an area away from family activity. The perfect space is a separate room (or perhaps the garage), but any area will do, if it can hold all the business supplies and equipment, and also provide enough work space for desks, tables, or counters.

STEP #2 Determine How Much Time You Can Spend On The Business

Many people start a home business on a part-time basis while raising children or working outside the home. Others start full-time when family and finances allow. However you begin, figure out how may hours per week you can devote to the business. Make a weekly chart of your activities, examine it, and determine where the business fits. Don't assume you have time and find out later you don't.

STEP #3 Decide On The Type Of Business

Make a list of things you like to do, your work and volunteer experience, and items you own that can be used in a business. Look over this line-up, and using ideas from it, list possible businesses to start. Eliminate any business that isn't appealing or doesn't fill a need people have. STEP #4 Choose A Legal Form

The three basic legal forms are sole proprietorship, partnership, and corporation. The most common is the sole proprietorship. As its name implies, a sole proprietorship is owned by one individual. It is the oldest form of business, the easiest to start, and the least complicated to dissolve.
Here are some of the advantages of this business form:
1. You own all the profits
2. Your business is easy and cheap to organize.
You don't need any government approval, although you may be required to carry a city, state or county license. Your  only other obligation is to notify the Internal revenue Service (IRS) for the purposes of sales tax.
3. You're the boss
4. You enjoy certain tax savings.
You must pay regular individual taxes on your income, property, and payroll, but these are not levied as special taxes, as with a corporation. You will also have to pay sales tax which you have received from your customers.
5. Greater personal incentive and satisfaction. Since you have your investment to lose if your business is not successful, you should be more willing to put time, thought, and energy into the business.
And when your business is successful, you enjoy maximum sense of accomplishment since you know its success was dependent upon your decisions about your management ability alone.
It outlines the advantages and disadvantages of each legal type of structure. If after reading it you are still uncertain what form of the business should take, consult an attorney.

STEP #5 Determine Where The Money Will Come From

There are three ways to finance start-up costs: use your own money, obtain a loan, or find investors. If possible, it is better to start small, use your savings, and not worry about repaying a debt. Also keep in mind that since you are a home-based, chances of qualifying for a loan or finding investors are slim until the success of your idea is proven.

STEP #6 Gather Reliable Information

Generally, if you do not annoy your neighbors with excess noise, odors, and traffic, you will not be deterred from running a business at home. The neighbors may not even be aware of the business, but it is necessary to know exactly what you can and can't do before you start. This is important should any problems or questions arise later.

STEP #8 Pick A Business Name And Register It

If the business you choose is different form your name, file an assumed (or fictitious) name certificate with the county. You are notified if another business already has that name, so you can select a new one.
Do this before investing in expensive stationery and brochures.

It costs only a few dollars to file, and it protects the business name from being used by someone else in the county. Read more here.

5 Ways To Motivate Yourself To Work Harder

Most of the time there's no mystery to success--it comes down to simply putting in the hours and the sweat. But as we all know, the gap between knowing what's required and actually getting yourself to do it can be vast.
How do you cross that chasm? That's what a recent visitor to question-and-answer Quora wanted to know, asking "How can I motivate myself to work hard?" The query apparently touched a nerve, as a host of respondents piled on with several hundred answers, ranging from spiritual pep talks to nitty-gritty time-management strategies. For those struggling to make sure their energy and commitment match their aspirations, it's a goldmine of assistance. Here are a few of the best responses:

1. Get clear on the end goal

The trick to keeping your motivation up through low points and exhausted periods, traveler Marie Stein insists, isn't any particular productivity technique or energy-boosting idea; rather, it's being really, really clear about why you're doing what you doing.
"There is only one way for me to motivate myself to work hard: I don't think about it as hard work. I think about it as part of making myself into who I want to be," she writes. "The 'hard' part for me is choosing and accepting what it is that I have to do... Once I've made the choice to do something, I try not to think so much about how difficult or frustrating or impossible that might be; I just think about how good it must feel to be that, or how proud I might be to have done that."
Struggling to keep your focus on that end vision? "Just ask yourself: If you were the person that you want to be, then what would that person do?" suggests student Karl Bradley Saclolo.

2. Take care of yourself physically

Sometimes the problem isn't mental, it's physical. Your willpower can be at an all-time high, but if you don't have the physical energy to complete your work, keeping your motivation up is still going to be difficult.
"Are you tired a lot? Do you get enough sleep? Do you experience some constant unpleasantness, such as poor sinuses or a constant pain? Are you sad or upset or just lethargic all the time for no reason you can pinpoint?" asks freelance writer April Gunn. If so, "get to a doctor if you can for a routine physical, just to make sure everything is working properly. Try your best to get seven to nine hours of sleep a night. Listen to your body when it's telling you things, seek out the causes of your discomfort, and deal with them as best you can.
"It's really hard to get and stay motivated to work hard if you're not feeling your best," she concludes.

3. Think habits, not motivation

Getting yourself to do something again and again by sheer force of will is extremely difficult. Getting yourself to do something by force of habit is easier. "Because motivation/willpower is a limited resource, it has helped me to instead build habits which, once instilled, don't use willpower," explains entrepreneur Bud Hennekes. "Start with small habits that help you be more productive and make you feel good. For example, you could aim to walk 15 minutes a day or work in short bursts of intense focus."
Entrepreneur James Clear has endorsed this advice on Inc.com, though he frames it a bit differently. Rather than habits, he talks about the power of "schedules," but whichever term you use, the effect is the same--automating a behavior by integrating it into your routine means you rely less on willpower.

4. Embrace discomfort

Manager Mart Nijland suggests that those struggling with motivation remember the wisdom of bodybuilders: no pain, no gain. It is a cliche, but there's no way to expand your abilities without going outside your comfort zone, so stop letting a little bit of unpleasantness sap your motivation. In fact, struggling a little is a good sign.
"For anything you want to work harder for, you have to go beyond that threshold," he writes, "because you grow into a totally different, much stronger person."

5. Bribe (or punish) yourself

Not all routes to improved motivation are high-minded. One of the more effective ways will also motivate your dog--simple reward and punishment. "Make yourself an offer that you can't refuse," suggests analyst Deepak Singh (but don't go as far as Don Corleone, please).
Both positive and negative incentives can work. "For example, if you want to read a book, set a deadline and a reward. Say, if you love ice cream, you could eat some as soon as you finish the book," suggests Singh. It might not sound very grand, but pushing yourself to complete a task by dangling treats (or the threat of public humiliation or a pay-out on a bet with a friend) appears to be effective.
What's your top trick to get your motivation back up when you feel it sagging?

It is difficult to say which digital marketing strategy works best. Both email marketing and social media marketing are two different approaches and they both work really well. These two different channels consist of a different set of goals, pros, and cons respectively. Social Media Marketing Pros And Cons:
Social media comes under low-cost digital marketing strategy and always have upper hand and rightfully so. About 62% of digital marketers believe that social media channels like Linkedin are an effective source for web traffic and leads. Social media is impersonal when compared to email. It has a far more reach and more effective than email marketing strategy. It basically helps to build brand awareness, attract new customers, faster relationships, etc. Here you can learn about your audience and target them.

The trending topics posted in social media channels will create more information for Google to capture. There are multiple social media channels not all have the same strength. Sometimes a lot of customers leave a website within few seconds of entering, due to the shortening attention span of social media. It is one of the disadvantages.
Social media marketing can help us to build a stronger email contact list for future campaigns.
To build email list you need to target right people on social media and send them to your website and tell them to fill the email subscription form. We can get tens of thousands targeted emails by driving traffic from social media only. The strength of social media will only keep growing in coming days.
Email Marketing Pros and Cons:
About a 59% of B2B marketers consider that email marketing is the best source for lead generation. Email marketing is very effective when done at the right time. It is cost effective and measurable.
Email is still used widely at 2.6 billion unique users worldwide.
People believe that email is more convenient because everybody checks their email daily.
Mostly E-mail marketing takes over after you have a successfully driven traffic to your website through social media. Writing good emails plays a key role in email marketing.
Through email marketing campaigns we can connect with the target audience through one channel and this is regardless of the age group. And also have higher chances of converting into sales.
Email campaigns with clever subject lines will force consumers to open the email and go through the content.
Though emails get a lot of traffic to your website if the content is not good enough anything can create a glitch in your marketing strategy. It is one of the disadvantages.

Conclusion :
Email Marketing is effective for generating leads whereas Social Media is an effective measure to create your brand awareness.
Use social media marketing to win subscribers and then use email marketing to keep up with them and lower your cost per sale.
Instead of picking one over the other marketing strategies, a combination of the two strategies will give you the best of both worlds!
